Atlantic Basin Doppler Radar Sites

The Hurricane Watch Net (HWN) does not attempt to duplicate or replace professional radar visualization platforms. Instead, this page provides curated links to reliable, widely used third-party tools that offer high-quality radar and environmental data for situational awareness.

These resources are commonly used by meteorologists, emergency managers, storm spotters, and amateur radio operators.

Global Doppler Radar Sites

This page provides links to Doppler weather radar sites outside the United States, with emphasis on the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, and nearby regions frequently impacted by tropical cyclones.

National Weather Service (NWS) Radar
https://radar.weather.gov
The official NWS radar interface provides access to NEXRAD data nationwide. While the interface emphasizes combined and interactive displays, single-radar views are available within the platform.

Windy
https://www.windy.com
Windy provides an excellent interactive interface for radar, satellite imagery, wind fields, pressure, rainfall, and numerous forecast models. Users can easily zoom to local areas or view large-scale tropical systems.

Zoom.Earth
https://zoom.earth
Zoom.Earth offers fast, frequently updated satellite imagery (visible, infrared, and water vapor) with optional radar overlays. It is particularly useful for tracking tropical cyclones and large weather systems.

Ventusky
https://www.ventusky.com
Ventusky presents model-based visualizations of wind, precipitation, temperature, pressure, and other parameters in a clean, easy‑to‑understand format.
